Visit of Ms Michelle Pryde, Consultant.

Ms. Michelle Pryde was invited by Pune 2008 and Delhi 2010 to assess the possibility of her assisting in the conduct of the Youth Games in Pune as a consultant. She has worked on mega international sports events such as the Sydney Olympics and the Melbourne Commonwealth Games. More importantly, she was the coordinator for the Commonwealth Youth Games that took place in Bendigo in 2004.

On July 9, 2007, she visited the CYG office, where she met the members of the Secretariat, the Balewadi sports city where she met up with Director Sports and M/s Shashi Prabhu and Associates regarding sports venues and Athletes Village. On July 10, she had meetings with the members of the Secretariat on functional areas.

Her appointment was formalised in Delhi on July 12, 2007.
