Visit of Mr. Madhukar Gupta, Sec. Sports - Govt. of India.
Mr. Madhukar Gupta, Secretary visited Pune on January 12, 2007 to review the sports infrastructure and related budget issues of the CYG Pune 2008.

He visited all the venues for the 9 disciplines as well as the sites for the new multipurpose complex and the Athletes Village and expressed satisfaction over the progress of work.
