1 ‘500 DAYS TO GO’ and Announcement of the Name of the Mascot.

500 days to go was celebrated on June 1, 2007. The city was flooded with branding of the event.

The mascot was officially named ‘Jigrr’. A road show with Jigrr was conducted throughout the city in malls, multiplexes, colleges etc to popularise the name. A Jigrr jingle was also penned and launched on the day. Key-chains were distributed to children.

There was extensive coverage on Radio Mirchi with the jingle for Jigrr playing throughout the week on radio and on the float.
